Well, that all melted and a couple days later we got some real snow. We got to go pick Kenna up from school early and she played with Callie in perfect, powdery snow. To top it all off school was canceled again the next day. It was fun to have some winter weather, even if it was March. Now I know that I should keep some snow gear on hand for the girls so they can play outside without freezing.
In February Kenna convinced us to take her to science night at her school. It started at the same time as bedtime so neither of us wanted to go but after enough begging I gave in and took here. Of course Callie had to come too. I was very impressed with the activities they had. Both girls got to stand in a bubble which Callie immediately popped. They got to experiment with sound and lights and all kinds of cool stuff. The highlight was a computer that was hooked up to lemons and each lemon played a different sound like a piano, but only if you were touching the teacher who was hooked up to the computer. Kenna was enthralled.
